Charlotte Giarnese
Senior Practice Consultant – Safe Lives
Charlotte has around 15 years’ experience working within the criminal justice system and VAWG sector. She was an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) service ead, providing support through the criminal justice system for victim-survivors of sexual violence.
During her time at SafeLives, Charlotte has worked internationally to support the implementation of MARACs overseas, and she has, alongside survivors and pioneers, developed a best practice toolkit to help professionals respond to victim-survivors of domestic abuse who are Blind or partially sighted.
More recently, Charlotte has been primarily working to embed the authentic voice of survivors of all ages into policies, service design, and commissioning within local areas.
