Guidance Documents
Our ‘Suspected Abuse of Animals and People: Guidance for the Veterinary Team’ resource supports all members of the Veterinary Practice Team to recognise and act on suspected abuse in pets and people. Every member of the team can play a vital role in identifying the signs of non-accidental injury, which are set out in this Guidance. This vital resource provides the knowledge to recognise signs of abuse and the confidence to report it.

Domestic Abuse Awareness:
This guidance document is for veterinary and animal welfare teams. This guidance is designed to accompany the ‘domestic abuse awareness’ training, one of our Virtual Learning series, as well as our regular, live webinars. We hope that you will find this guidance a useful resource in terms of developing your understanding about the dynamics of domestic abuse, signs to watch out for and how to support victim-survivors.
