We were delighted to be a part of the British Veterinary Receptionist Association Congress in Solihull again this year, with Vet Projects Manager at Dogs Trust and Links Group speaker Emily Mills, RVN, on The Links Group stand in the exhibition. We were in great company, once again paired up alongside VetYogi for a relaxing and calming experience after the busyness of the numbers visiting the stands in the exhibition areas.
Veterinary receptionists are the eyes and ears of a practice – even before animals and their people have even physically entered the practice environment – and receptionists are often the first and last point of contact between the veterinary team and animal caregivers. This is why veterinary receptionists play such a crucial role in recognising and responding to ‘The Link’.
Last year, Emily delivered a presentation on “The Link between domestic abuse and non-accidental injury in pets – What can you do?”, tailored to the role of the veterinary receptionist in practice. We were so pleased to be able to build on this, and are very grateful to the team at BVRA for inviting us to exhibit this year. Once again, the atmosphere was incredible with an exciting programme which made for an excellent day all round.
