We are delighted to tell you that Links Group Chair and founding trustee, Dr. Paula Boyden, has added another accolade to her already long list of awards.

Paula has been welcomed to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for her Meritorious Contributions to the Profession.  This is an incredible honour, and one which our Paula thoroughly deserves.  The RCVS is the regulatory body for vets and vet nurses in the UK, and we are thrilled that Paula’s work throughout her career has been recognised in this way.

Paula’s previous awards include the British Small Animal Veterinary Association’s JA Wight Memorial Award in 2017, the World Small Animal Veterinary Association’s Global One Health Award in 2023, and the British Veterinary Association’s Outstanding Service Award in 2024.  This is also known as the Chiron Award, and is given for contributions to veterinary science or services to the profession, judged as being of a calibre commanding international or interprofessional recognition. Paula received this award for the extensive contributions she has made to pet health and welfare and One Health.

The new Fellows will be formally welcomed at this year’s RCVS Fellowship Day, which takes place on Thursday, 27 November 2025 at One Great George Street, Westminster.

Congratulations, Paula – we couldn’t be more proud!
